Darwin


Darwin is the largest city in the Northern Territory but it is the smallest and most northerly of the Australia capital cities .Only about 136,000 people live in Darwin. Darwin lies in the Northern Territory on the Timor Sea.

 

 

The Aboriginal people of the Larrikin language group are the traditional custodians and the first inhabitants of the greater Darwin area.

                                                       
The Northern Territory was transferred to Federal administration in 1911 and Darwin became the city’s official name.

Darwin has a tropical savanna climate with distinct wet and dry seasons and the average maximum temperature is remarkably similar all year round.

 There are a lot of festivals, museum arts gallery and parks. The city has many kilometres of wide unpolluted beaches including the Casuarinas Beaches and well renowned Mendel Beach

Tourist activities-Charles Darwin National Park is close to the city and free to visit .a visit to any of the local Darwin Markets is also free .There is beautiful tropical bush rock pools the closest to Darwin are at Berry Springs.

Stroke


Definition of stroke

Stroke also known as cerebrovascular accident (CVA), Cerebrovascular insult (CVI), or brain attack is when poor blood flow to the brain results in the cell death. We have different definition stroke as neurological deficit of cerebrovascular cause that persist beyond 24 hours or is interrupted by death within 24 hours.

·         Stroke is the second most frequent cause of death worldwide.

·         For 20 years the numbers of stroke decrease by approximately10%

·         South Asians are at particularly high risk for stroke (40% of global stroke risk)

·         95% of strokes occur in people age 45 and older, but 2/3 of strokes occurred in those over 65 years older

·         Man are 25% more likely to suffer strokes than women

·         60% of deaths from stroke occur in woman

·         70% of people who have a stroke survive

Diabetes


Diabetes mellitus commonly called as diabetes is a disease of metabolic disorder when the blood sugar levels tend to remain high either because insufficient insulin is produce in pancreas or because the cells not responding to the insulin produced. Insulin the hormone produced in the pancreas which a large gland behind the stomach.

Diabetes occurs in several forms but the most important
Type 1 diabetes or Insulin Dependent diabetes mellitus or “juvenile diabetes
Type 2 diabetes or Non-Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus or insulin resistant

Diabetes Mellitus statistics

·         382 million people have diabetes worldwide. Types 2 makes about 90 % cases.

·         Diabetes resulted in 1.5 million death in world per year.

·         It is 8th leading cause of death in world.

·         Diabetes Mellitus is a major health problem in Australia.

·         4% of Australians have diabetes (that is around 1 million people)

·         280 Australians develop diabetes every day

·         1 in 20 pregnancies are affects by diabetes

·         3 in 5 of people with diabetes also have cardiovascular diseases

Obesity is a very serious health issue in nowadays. In the last decade observed much more fat people than in the past. Sugar is one of the reason why today we have 60%people with overweight and why diabetes very serious disease has increased triple .In seventies that percentage was much smaller. You can find sugar in all products in supermarket soft drinks one of them!

blood donation

A blood donation is when adults voluntarily give of whole blood or specific components of blood. The most blood donors are unpaid volunteers who donate blood for a community supply. Before are using the blood from donation blood has tasting for disease that can be transmitted by a blood transfusion including HIV and viral hepatitis. I gave blood more than twenty times I am supporting blood donation. What about you?

Venice is one of the most beautiful cities in the world

Venice is the most beautiful city in the world. It is a city in northeaster Italy sited on a group of 118 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges .The city in its entirety is listed as a World Heritage Site, along with its lagoon. I recommend you to visit that city :-) I visited a few years ago it was amazing. Here are some images

Hello my friend;-) Five month ago I put apple in my handbag, I did not use that bag a few months. Yesterday I found my apple which did not change I could  not believe.  I thought of how the poison on it when it is not even dehydrated? Does healthy food really healthy? My exercise

Hi my friend to be honest I do not like gym or aerobic but I realy like to walk.When I have time I put my toddler in pram and walk one or two hours. It is good exercise for physical and mental health, you can try sometimes alone or with someone who will enjoy like you:-).
